15th Edition: Feeling Outrageously Good During The Holiday

THE GP NEWSLETTER

Newsletter Fam -

It’s been a bit since our last newsletter and I’ve missed you all.

Many updates to share with you, first and foremost, this will be your final time reading the GP Newsletter.

Rest assured, the newsletter is not coming to an end. On the contrary, I have been diligently working behind-the-scenes to bring you a revamped version, complete with a brand new name and thrilling updates that are bound to leave you exhilarated. Stay tuned for the big reveal after the holidays!

Sometimes you have to shut out all other distractions and get lost in some deep work to create something special.

I have huge dreams to help the people who read this newsletter. I want to be a beacon of light in a world where unsolicited “advice” is coming from every direction about your personal health and fitness.

I want to lead people towards the cutting edge science and application of fitness. I want people to make the most of their time and money when pursuing fitness.

No fluff, just results.

In Today’s (Final GP) Newsletter:

  • Life Hack #15

  • G + T = P

  • Holiday Tips - Feeling Good 💪

  • What’s next?

Thanks again for opening this email. A quick reminder which helps this newsletter so so much:

  • Please reply to this message! I love hearing from all of you, but even if you send a simple 'yes.' it tells google (and other email providers) you actually want to get this.

  • If this email landed in your promotions folder, move it to primary to make sure you actually see the next edition!

Thank you for joining the process and supporting my vision: to bring everyone access to the training strategies pro soccer players use everyday, that actually get results.

Life Hack #15:

Achieving a healthier lifestyle doesn't require overhauling your entire routine. It's all about seizing those small opportunities for growth and progress.

Today, I want to share with you a powerful hack: incorporating brief moments of movement into your day.

I'll admit, I've been guilty of prolonged periods of sitting or getting stuck in one position. But let me tell you, my spine is eternally grateful when I take just a few minutes to get up and get moving.

One exercise that I absolutely adore is the All Fours Belly Lift. It's a simple yet effective move that you can easily integrate into your daily routine. Just 2-3 minutes of this exercise can truly make a world of difference.

So go ahead, give it a try and let me know your thoughts. Trust me, you won't regret it!

The Greatest Competitive Advantage: G + T = P

The ultimate goal is performance. And we all train with the goal of performance. But, what if I told you we’ve all been missing the secret ingredient that is crucial to achieve peak performance?

We all have different genetic codes. Literally every single one of us has a unique genetic code. Knowing that we’re all made differently, shouldn’t we train that way?

T = Training

  • Sport Training

  • Weight Lifting

  • Nutrition

  • Sleep

  • Recovery

We create “optimal” plans to produce the best possible performance in a match. But we’re missing a massive piece of the equation.

Your genetic code is extremely unique, so shouldn’t your training plan be too?

DG Holiday Tips: Feeling Outrageously Good Over The Holidays

Holidays can be tough. Plain and simple it is a time where a lot of emphasis is put on food.

Here are a few key things I focus on around the holidays to take care of myself:

  • Try and squeeze in a walk before or after dinner. I try and take advantage of the sunlight before it gets too dark and I always feel my digestion improve from a short walk.

  • Prioritize drinking water! As it gets colder, drinking water becomes an after thought. I have 32oz stainless steel water bottle that is my bare minimum to drink each day. Of course, that is the minimum amount and I aim to drink to thirst, especially on training days.

  • Always have a protein snack/bar on you. The holidays are filled with sweets everywhere you look. While it’s great to indulge sometimes, I realize it helps having a healthy alternative nearby when those cravings are real and I need a little help to get through those moments.

Have other holiday questions? Shoot me a reply and I’d love to help answer any questions you have. We can do this together!
